Terms of sale

Version of 16 September 2026. These terms apply to every purchase made on pin7diagnostics.ee.

1. Who you are buying from

The seller is Hooldustööd (registry code —, VAT number —), —, Estonia. E-mail: Heimar422@gmail.com.

2. What you are buying

Pin7 Diagnostics is a downloadable Android application (APK file) for reading fault codes and live data from VW Group cars — Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda built roughly 1994–2006 that use the K-line.

The purchase is a one-time payment of €10 +VAT. VAT is added at the applicable rate. It is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel later.

The licence covers personal use on the buyer's own vehicles. Workshop, fleet or commercial use, as well as resale or redistribution of the file, requires a separate written agreement.

3. Try before you buy

A free demo APK is published on this site. It is the same application with the paid parts locked: fault-code reading, identification and adaptation values work, while live data, memory reading, clearing fault codes and login-protected functions belong to the full version. Please try the demo and check the compatibility list before paying — it exists so that you know what you are buying.

4. Delivery

Delivery is digital, by e-mail, to the address you give us: a download link and your personal download code. When the automatic checkout is active, the link arrives within minutes of the payment; for orders confirmed by e-mail it can take up to 24 hours on working days.

5. Payment

Sales are opening soon. No payment is taken anywhere on this site today: the shop is being set up for worldwide payments, and once it opens you will be able to pay by bank link or card directly on the download page. Until then nothing can be ordered and nothing is charged.

When payments are live, an order is confirmed once the payment has been received. If a payment fails, is charged twice or arrives with a reference we cannot match, write to us and we will sort it out.

6. The right of withdrawal and when it ends

As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because this product is digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery has begun — provided you gave your express consent and confirmed that you understood you would lose the right of withdrawal (Estonian Law of Obligations Act, VÕS § 53).

You give that consent by ticking the box at checkout or, when ordering by e-mail, by sending us your order: the confirmation e-mail states it explicitly. If you do not want to give that consent, do not complete the purchase — the free demo is exactly for judging the app first.

This does not affect your rights if the product turns out to be defective: see Refunds and returns.

7. Updates and support

The purchase price includes future updates of the application — there is no upgrade fee. Support is by e-mail, Heimar422@gmail.com; we answer within a few working days and usually much sooner.

The application contains open-source components (including the kw1281test protocol engine by gmenounos); their licences are listed in the app. We do not claim authorship of third-party code.

8. What this app is, and what it is not

Pin7 Diagnostics is unofficial hobbyist software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Volkswagen AG, Audi, SEAT or Škoda. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The app is a diagnostic aid. It does not replace the manufacturer's procedures or a qualified workshop. Diagnosing a running engine, or working under a car, is your own responsibility.

Compatibility depends on your car's wiring and control units — the compatibility list and the free demo let you check that before payment.

9. Liability

We are liable for direct damage caused to you by our breach of these terms, up to the amount you paid us, except where the law does not allow that limit. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or for damage caused by using the software in a way these terms do not allow.

10. Complaints and applicable law

Write to Heimar422@gmail.com first — nearly everything is solved in one e-mail. If we cannot agree, a consumer can turn to the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (ttja.ee) or to the Consumer Disputes Committee.

Estonian law applies to these terms. Nothing here restricts the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. The version in force for your purchase is the one published on this page at the moment you ordered, and an already completed purchase is not changed retroactively.
